The POSITIVE CHANGE Plan, Part II
In 2012, council unanimously passed the 95 point Reorganization Plan for Positive Change This plan guided my term in office.
If re-elected as Mayor, I will present this 100 point plan to Council for a vote.
The plan presented here will raise the bar in what you can expect from your local government.
100 more Positive Changes for CBRM will ensure we leave the municipality better than we found it ... with less debt, better facilities, a stronger identity and a brighter future.
By welcoming new investment and business growth, we will continue to showcase the Cape Breton Regional Municipality as the most business and development friendly municipality in Atlantic Canada.
While we continue to grow the opportunities our port offers, we will also strive to take our creative economy to next steps.
I hope you share this vision for a more self- reliant and prosperous community.
No increase to tax rate.
MAINSTREETS we can all be proud of.
Continued debt reduction.
